Last night was the first music, fountains and drone show at Longwood Gardens. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement! The show was a half an hour late in starting, the announcer was impossible to hear regarding updates. The actual drones made such simplistic patterns(i.e. a rotating rectangle)that it really didn't coordinate with the magnificence of the fountain part of the show. Anyone who saw the Phili's drone show over the art building or Capital building will be disappointed in this drone show.
Longwood Gardens has never in the past disappointed me in any of their seasonal shows or events. Considering this was a special event where extra admission fees were charged, I expected Longwood Gardens to have a stunning show...it wasn't. I left early and dismayed.
